Factory Visit of Telkom University DKV Students to PT Alkindo Naratama Tbk
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, PT Alkindo Naratama Tbk welcomed a factory visit from students and lecturers of the Visual Communication Design (DKV) Program, Telkom University Bandung, to Plant 2 located in the Cimareme Industrial Area. The visit, participated by 19 students and 5 lecturers, provided valuable opportunities for participants to directly observe the production of paper-based, eco-friendly packaging and the implementation of industrial quality standards.
The visit began with a company introduction session delivered by Ms. Ratri Adityarani, Corporate Secretary & Compliance, together with Mr. R. Rachmad Yulianto, SH, MM, HR Corporate. During this session, participants learned about the company’s product portfolio and Alkindo’s commitment to sustainability. The lecturers in attendance, including Mrs. Diani Apsari, S.Ds., M.Ds. and Mrs. Nisa Eka Nastiti, S.Ds., M.I.Kom, expressed their appreciation for the opportunity, as the activity gave students real insights into how design is applied within the modern packaging industry.
Following the presentation, the group continued with a plant tour to the PTHC (Papercore) and PBPG (Paper Packaging) production areas, where they observed the manufacturing workflow from raw materials to finished products ready for distribution. The tour was guided by Mr. Japar Sidik, Head of QA/QC, along with Mr. Muhammad Yasin from PBPG Plant and Ms. Marcella from Papercore Plant. Throughout the tour, students showed strong enthusiasm, asking many questions related to production processes, recycled material utilization, and design opportunities for product development.
This activity not only enriched the academic knowledge of both students and lecturers but also strengthened the foundation for broader collaboration between Alkindo and Telkom University. Mr. Rachmad also conveyed his hope for future partnerships, including internship programs and participation in upcoming academic or creative events—supporting the development of young talents in Indonesia’s creative and packaging industries.
